+\\ \\ **CLAN: PAGAK PALYEC **\\ \\ ** HISTORY Narrator is 57 years**\\ At around 1800AD a group of Luo who separated from the dispersal place called Pubungu, the current Pakwach moved to the Eastern Acholi land which is known as Kitgum, where they settled there. But due to the different desires and interest, some group of Pagak decided to move backward. This group moved and entered Lamogi land under the leadership of Rwot Yayii of Lamogi. They were welcomed and ruled by the chief. But some remained permanently in Kitgum up to date.\\ The group of Pagak stayed under control of Lamogi chief, until when a leader from Pagak married a woman from Madi clan and produced a first born male child who was given a name called Lyec and Cuenge being the second born male child, then after that Pagak clan was definitely headed by Lyec as being the Chief of the clan.\\ **MWOC**; Lyec yee, Mukero yee.\\ This motto came after the woman who was married in the clan obeyed and followed every rituals performed and she delivered a child with the first right arm coming out. And this symbolizes the animal so called elephant in the local language called Lyec, which marked the beginning of their own chief who led them.
