 +\\ **NAME:** **AYOO ALBA**\\ **AGE:​****70 YEARS BORN ON THE 05/​07/​1947**\\ **CLAN:** **PAINGO P’PELA**\\ \\  **HISTORY**\\ Nothing much is known by the narrator but this clan is said to have come from Bunyoro at around 1880AD under the leadership of Paingo. They entered Acholi land from the south and settled under the leadership of Rwot Boro. Paingo got married to a woman from Pagak clan and gave birth to three children i.e. Pela, Oboka and Limo respectively. He later broke away from Boro clan and formed Paingo clan which was named after him. He moved with his people to a place he named Paingo and settled there. After his death each of his sons formed a sub clan with his name and Paingo was divided into three sub-clans. Pela the first son formed Paingo P’Pela clan. \\ \\ **MWOC:** Paingo yee, lagwiri yee, guru guru yee, got mewa.\\ **The grandfather of the narrator was a great traditional dancer like** **Orak, Bwola, and Ajere dance. With his gifted skill in playing local** **instruments like Adungo, Lukeme, and Rikiriki, he entertained so many** **people in his entire life.**
